Central London

My client is an acquisition-led property and lettings group and are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team.

The role You will own the day-to-day finance operation across a growing multi-entity group, working closely with the Founder and senior advisers. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build robust systems and reporting while remaining comfortable with imperfect information during a period of rapid change.

Key Responsibilities:

*Produce monthly management accounts, branch/entity performance reporting and meaningful commercial commentary.
*Maintain a rolling 13-week cashflow, working-capital visibility and lender / covenant reporting.
*Help select and implement a scalable multi-entity accounting system and improve data flows from existing property / franchise systems.
*Build and formalise central client-account processes covering landlord receipts, fees, landlord and contractor payments and reconciliations.
*Recruit, manage and delegate repeatable transactional work to a junior finance/client-accounts team member.
*Support integration of acquired businesses, including travel to new locations to roll out group processes and controls.
*Work with external accountants and prepare the business cleanly for statutory accounts / audit.
*Use AI, automation and modern finance tools to simplify processes and reduce unnecessary manual work.

Requirements:

*Substantial practical finance experience with strong commercial judgement.
*Confidence with management accounts, cashflow, balance-sheet control and multi-entity reporting.
*Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial environment where not everything is fully structured on day one.
*Able to understand the commercial implications of franchise, funding and other business agreements.
*Willing to delegate and lead, while remaining prepared to get into the detail when required.
*Part-qualified, currently studying, previously studied or QBE - all considered. Capability matters more than qualification status.
*Experience of property, lettings, client money, acquisitions, bank covenants or lender reporting would be advantageous.
