Job Description:
Full job descriptionReed Practice has a fantastic opportunity for a Probate and Trust Tax Senior to work with a very good client, a chartered firm with offices in key locations across the East of England.
If you value the culture of a partner-owned practice over that of a national, private equity-backed consolidator, and are looking for an employer that invests in your development through training, support, career progression, and opportunities to specialise in areas of interest, all while promoting a healthy work-life balance, then read on.
The primary focus of this role is to support the Probate Manager and authorised Individuals in delivering a high-quality service to a varied portfolio of probate and estate clients.
The position -
Whilst managing your own portfolio of clients you will also assist partners, associates and managers with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns, predominantly for estates and trusts, while supporting a smaller portfolio that may include high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed business directors, and trustees.
What’s on offer along with a clear and successful career path?
*Full ATT and/or STEP study support, including paid study leave
*Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
*Supportive and collaborative team environment
*Clear opportunities for progression within private client services with a chance to focus on an area of which you have a keen interest.
*Generous annual leave entitlement
*Professional subscriptions paid for
*Enhanced maternity, paternity and sick pay
*Ongoing training and development
*Plus, a host of additional employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
What we are looking for:
*Private client tax is a must but previous exposure to probate, estate administration, or trust tax work would be beneficial, though full training can be provided
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
*Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
*Well-organised and dependable, with excellent attention to detail
*A proactive approach to learning and a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development
