Full job descriptionThe Opportunity
Shape specialist hiring, strengthen recruitment capability and help deliver meaningful change.
Contract: Permanent, fulltime
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + annual bonus
Location: Sale, Greater Manchester (2/3 days onsite per week)
Interview process: 3 stages (1 virtual screening, 2 in-person)
This is an opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to take ownership of varied, business-critical hiring while contributing to the evolution of a growing in-house talent function.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will manage end-to-end recruitment across technology, data, finance, commercial and other specialist corporate roles. You will build credible hiring partnerships, proactively source hard-to-find talent and ensure candidates receive a professional, well-managed experience throughout the process.
Alongside vacancy delivery, you will have the autonomy to influence how recruitment operates. Key priorities will include:
*Directly sourcing and headhunting specialist candidates
*Advising and constructively challenging hiring managers
*Managing multiple concurrent vacancies and maintaining momentum
*Improving recruitment processes, governance and compliance
*Strengthening hiring-manager capability through guidance and training
*Supporting the selection and implementation of a new applicant tracking system
*Improving efficiency and reducing avoidable agency reliance
About You
You will be a mid-to-senior-level talent acquisition professional with demonstrable technical recruitment experience and strong direct-sourcing capability. In-house experience would be advantageous, although technically focused agency recruiters seeking broader ownership and stakeholder involvement are encouraged to apply.
You will be self-sufficient, organised and comfortable working autonomously with busy senior stakeholders. The position is based in Greater Manchester and follows a hybrid working model, with regular office presence important for relationship building and collaboration.
What’s next?
If you want to combine hands-on specialist recruitment with genuine scope to improve systems, processes and hiring capability, we would be pleased to hear from you and invite you to apply.
