We are seeking a Strategic Supplier Manager & Contract Lead for our Government client on a mainly remote basis but with ad hoc travel - Possibly twice a month to central London / Croydon / Manchester.


The Strategic Supplier Manager role will be an initial 12 month contract paying between £550 - £650/Day Inside IR35.


This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:
*Lead relationships with strategic suppliers and delivery partners
*Drive supplier performance, value and innovation
*Shape supplier strategies, intelligence and stakeholder engagement
*Provide expert commercial and contract management advice
*Build and enhance contract management capability across the organisation
*Establish assurance frameworks that strengthen contract oversight
*Represent the organisation in strategic supplier and stakeholder engagements
*Promote best practice and continuous improvement in supplier management
*Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM)
*Professional Services category management
*Contract management & supplier governance
*Public sector procurement (PA23)
*Government contract management experience
*Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing
*Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
*Project delivery in fast-paced environments
*Proven leadership & collaboration skills
*eProcurement systems expertise
*Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset
