Are you a Paraplanner looking for your next challenge and the opportunity to develop your technical skills?
Would you like to work closely with a Director and high-net-worth clients, with dedicated administration and annual review teams supporting you?
Or perhaps you’re looking to join a growing wealth management practice with more established processes, a supportive culture and a clear plan for your career progression?
If so, this could be an opportunity worth exploring.
The Company
Our client is a well-established wealth management practice with just over 50 employees across four offices. Having grown consistently in recent years, they offer the stability of an established business alongside opportunities to develop and progress.
Despite their growth, they’ve worked hard to maintain a close-knit, family feel across the business. Their people are an important part of the local communities they serve, and cultural fit is a real priority.
The Practice Manager is passionate about developing employees while ensuring processes, procedures and workflows are well managed, creating an organised and supportive working environment.
The Role
This is an opportunity to work closely with the Director of the business, supporting his high-net-worth clients across both existing client work and new business.
With full administration support and a dedicated annual review team, you’ll be able to focus on the more technical aspects of paraplanning and work collaboratively with the Director, rather than being tied up with routine administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing suitability reports and supporting recommendations across existing business and new cases.
*Carrying out technical research and analysis to support client recommendations.
*Working on cashflow modelling and other technical aspects of financial planning.
*Collaborating directly with the Director on financial plans for high-net-worth clients.
*Supporting a varied caseload, developing your technical knowledge and taking on more complex work as your experience grows.
What They’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a Paraplanning role within financial planning or wealth management.
*Good technical knowledge and experience preparing suitability reports.
*An understanding of pensions, investments and the wider financial planning process.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Someone who enjoys working collaboratively with Advisers and delivering a high standard of support.
What’s on Offer?
*Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience.
*Flexibility with hybrid working available - up to 3 days at home
*Full financial support for professional exams, with salary increases for each exam passed.
*Dedicated administration and annual review teams, allowing you to focus on technical paraplanning.
*Direct collaboration with the Director and exposure to high-net-worth clients.
*Opportunities to progress towards a Senior Paraplanner position or, if desired, a future Adviser role.
*The chance to join an established, growing practice that values its people and their development.
Interested?
If you’re looking for a Paraplanning role where you can focus on the technical side of financial planning, work closely with an experienced Director and follow a structured plan for your career development, this could be a great next step.
