Full job descriptionOur client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Finance Controller to lead the finance function across a multi-company manufacturing business. Managing a small team, you will ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
*Office based role
*Lead all accounting, reporting, forecasting and month-end processes
*Produce management accounts, board reports and financial analysis
*Manage cash flow, payroll, VAT returns and year-end accounts
*Liaise with auditors, HMRC and regulatory bodies
*Oversee sales and purchase ledgers, credit control and reconciliations
*Manage multi-currency ledgers, journals and fixed assets
*Prepare R&D tax claims and support Patent Box requirements
*Calculate bonus and commission payments
*Work closely with operational teams and Sage Manufacturing systems
*Lead and develop the finance team
Requirements
*ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
*Minimum 10 years’ finance leadership experience
*Manufacturing sector background essential
*Strong management accounting and reporting expertise
*Advanced Excel skills; Sage 200 Manufacturing desirable
*Knowledge of R&D tax claims and Patent Box advantageous
