Location: Desborough, Northamptonshire
Shift Pattern: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday Night to Saturday Morning
Pay Rate: £14.66 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Nightshift Manufacturing Operative to join our client’s production team in Desborough. This is a critical role focused on ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of manufactured products within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities*Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
*Feed materials into machines and monitor production processes to achieve daily output targets.
*Carry out regular quality inspections to identify and report defects, ensuring products meet required standards.
*Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.
*Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE.
*Report machinery faults, breakdowns, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor promptly.
*Complete production records, quality documentation, and shift handover information accurately.
Essential Skills & Experience*Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, machine operating, or machine minding environment is highly desirable.
*Ability to work a fixed night shift pattern consistently.
*Strong work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality.
*Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and undertake manual handling duties.
*Able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Recruitment & Compliance*All successful candidates will be required to pass a drug and alcohol test during the induction process as a condition of employment.
