The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and accounts services to a broad range of clients across multiple sectors. You will work closely with managers and partners while building strong relationships with clients and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
*Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
*Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
*Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
*Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
*Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory services
*Assisting with management accounts and business reporting requirements
*Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
*Ensuring assignments are delivered accurately and within deadlines
About You
*ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong audit and accounts preparation experience
*Good knowledge of UK accounting standards
*Experience working with owner-managed businesses and SME clients
*Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, IRIS or CCH
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
