Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are proud to be working with a successful logistics company based in the heart of Liverpool to recruit a senior Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a QBE or AAT part/qualified candidate to be a part of a supportive team and further their accounts career.


Key skills:
*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
*Supporting month-end procedures, including accruals, prepayments and journal postings.
*Preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are recorded correctly.
*Assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger activities.
*Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
*Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements.
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties and projects.
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and maintain efficient financial procedures.
