Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Wakefield.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing
Wakefield | £50,000–£55,000 | Permanents Nights (Monday–Wednesday, 6:30pm–6:30am)
Benefits:

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:
*Respond immediately to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime
*Carry out preventative maintenance in line with the scheduled plan
*Liaise with the Manager to compile and deliver an improvement list for site equipment, keeping machinery up to date
*Maintain accurate spare parts stock levels to minimise disruption to production
*Work with other members of the maintenance team on projects to improve the factory
*Ensure PLC software and programmes are kept current and up to date across all machinery
*Arrange and manage statutory examinations, including PAT testing and high-voltage (HV) examinations, using external contractors where required
*Provide daily reports detailing work completed and any upcoming issues
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping across internal and external areas
What We’re Looking For:
*Level 3 qualification in Maintenance Engineering
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role
*Strong electrical fault-finding skills within a manufacturing environment
*Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to machinery breakdowns
*PLC knowledge
This role is commutable from: Leeds, Wakefield, Mirfield, Bradford, Barnsley
