INVESTMENT ANALYSTLONDON/ONSITEUP TO £60,000This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Business Analyst to join a growing private equity investment team focused on technology and software businesses. You will gain hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working on live acquisitions, financial modelling, investment analysis, and portfolio value creation initiatives in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Investments Analyst will:*Support the evaluation of potential investment opportunities
*Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis to inform investment decisions
*Build and maintain financial models
*Assist with due diligence processes across live transactions
*Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and investment proposals
*Support M&A execution and transaction management activities
*Monitor portfolio company performance and key business metrics
*Contribute to strategic initiatives and value creation projects within portfolio companies
*Assist with quarterly reporting and investment documentation
*Collaborate across multiple live deals and projects simultaneously
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*Strong commercial experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or a related investment environment
*Exposure to M&A transactions and investment processes
*Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
*Experience analysing financial, commercial, and market data
*Advanced Excel
*An interest in software, technology, and investment-led growth businesses
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
