Full job descriptionOur client, a reputable firm of accountants based in Harrow, is seeking a skilled temporary Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, reconciling bank statements, and preparing VAT returns. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment, supporting the overall financial management of a well-established firm of accountants. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in using Sage Line 50 to efficiently perform bookkeeping duties.
*Proven experience in bookkeeping within a firm of accountants or similar setting
*Extensive knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounting software
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Ability to reconcile accounts and manage VAT submissions accurately
*Excellent attention to detail and reliability in maintaining financial data
*Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively
*Experience working independently and within a team environment
This is a temporary role until January, so looking for candidates who have solid experience with sage line 50 and available ASAP.
This role is office based, Monday to Friday, and my client are close to transport links
