Joining a busy food manufacturing site in Corby, you’ll be working across a wide range of automated processing and packaging equipment, helping to keep production running efficiently while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced engineering team.
This is a business with a strong reputation, significant investment in its operations and a product range you’ll almost certainly recognise. With a varied plant, a stable workload and a team that genuinely works together, it’s the kind of site where engineers tend to stay.
What’s in it for you?

*Panama shift pattern rotating days and nights, with every other weekend off
*Overtime available at enhanced rates, including double time opportunities
*Exposure to a wide range of automated production, processing and packaging equipment
*Ongoing training and development on specialist machinery
*Subsidised canteen, pension scheme and employee wellbeing support
*Join a well-established business with a long-standing presence in UK manufacturing
*Supportive engineering team with plenty of experience and knowledge on site
*Opportunities to get involved in reliability and continuous improvement projects
What you’ll need

*Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
*Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
*Experience carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities
*Knowledge of automated production, process or packaging equipment would be advantageous
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
*Understanding of safe working practices within a production environment
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
*Fault-finding and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns across a fast-paced manufacturing operation
*Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise reliability and minimise downtime
*Working on a variety of equipment including conveyors, processing machinery, weighers, bagging equipment and automated production lines
*Supporting production teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently
*Using the CMMS to record maintenance activities and equipment history
*Identifying recurring faults and helping implement long-term engineering solutions
*Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that drive performance across the site
