Full job descriptionAs a Head Of Transactional Finance in Stockport, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of transactional finance activity for a leading facilities Management business. You will keep processes clear, accurate and well organised, helping the wider Accounting & Finance function run smoothly.

This company are a global facilities management business and a market leader in their Sector. They are currently going through an exciting transformation project and as a result are looking for a Head of Transactional Finance to support them through this journey. They are a high profile and highly sought after organisation to work for.
Description
The Head Of Transactional Finance role is initially a 2 year fixed term contract and will be Hybrid- 3 days per week in Stockport office. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller key duties will include:
*Leading and developing the Transactional Services function across Accounts Payable, Billing, Credit Control and Treasury.
*Set clear priorities for transactional workloads to maintain accurate and timely processing.
*Oversee finance processes and resolve issues that could affect day-to-day service delivery.
*Leading process improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality.
*Maintain consistent ways of working across transactional activities to support reliable outputs.
*Work closely with finance colleagues to ensure information is available when needed.
*Review operational activity and identify practical improvements to finance processes.
*Provide clear updates on workload, progress and issues affecting transactional services.
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
*Have Experience leading a finance shared services, transactional finance or finance operations function.
*Have Strong leadership experience with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
*Have Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, treasury or related finance operations.
*Be able to commute to Stockport office 3 days per week
*Be able to consider a 2 year Fixed Term Contract
