Full job descriptionBuild and lead a new Midlands underwriting proposition as a Regional Managing Director. You’ll shape the region’s direction, develop its presence with brokers and use established underwriting markets to support the next stage of growth.
This is a senior appointment for someone who can combine commercial leadership with a strong understanding of underwriting. The role offers a six-figure package and a long-term incentive plan with the potential to be worth seven figures.


The opportunity
*Establish and lead a new regional underwriting division in the Midlands.
*Build a proposition around existing underwriting markets, expertise and broker relationships.
*Set the regional growth plan and turn it into practical priorities for the business.
*Develop relationships with brokers and other market partners across the region.
*Work with senior colleagues to shape the division and make the most of the wider business’s capabilities.


Who would suit it?
*A senior insurance leader with experience building or growing an underwriting or broking proposition.
*A strong understanding of underwriting markets and the needs of broker partners.
*A track record of setting commercial direction and developing lasting market relationships.
*The judgement and leadership skills to take ownership of a regional business at Managing Director level.
