Solution Architect *£650 / £675 per day (Umbrella)
*6 Month Contract
*South West, Commutable from - Bristol, Reading, Swindon, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Oxford, Birmingham
*1-2 Days Onsite per Week
*Immediate Start
We’re looking for an experienced Application focused Solution Architect with a strong background in Wealth / Investment Management to join a major transformation programme within a leading financial services environment.
This role will see you providing hands-on architecture leadership across a range of business-critical initiatives, working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Security and Infrastructure teams to define and deliver strategic solutions.
Key Responsibilities*Lead solution architecture activities from initial problem definition through to delivery mobilisation.
*Translate business requirements into robust, scalable application-focused solution designs.
*Own architectural decision-making, governance approvals and technical risk management.
*Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, designs and documentation.
*Collaborate with development, data, security and third-party delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
*Provide architectural leadership across complex change and transformation initiatives.
Experience needed*Proven track record as a Solution Architect delivering large-scale, business-critical technology programmes.
*Strong focus on application architecture, integration and solution design.
*Experience working within Wealth Management, Investment Management, Private Banking or Asset Management environments.
*Ability to take ambiguous or incomplete requirements and develop implementable architecture solutions.
*Broad understanding across application, integration, data, security, infrastructure and operational architecture.
*Experience operating within complex stakeholder and matrix-managed environments.
