Full job descriptionTrust Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the WF13 area for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant. This is a full time fixed term role, starting in January 2027 offering an amazing opportunity to join an accomplished Key Stage 2 team to support Years 3 to 6.
The Role:
*Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
*Providing occasional class cover where required across Key Stage 2
*Working with small groups and individual pupils
*Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
*Supporting pupils of all abilities and learning needs to achieve their potential


The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and a minimum of 1 year experience
*Have experience working within Key Stage 2
*Be confident delivering intervention programmes and small group support
*Be reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
*Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
*Be flexible and confident providing class cover when required
