Our client, a well-established accountancy practice, is looking to appoint an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant seeking a varied role combining audit, accounts preparation and client advisory work. As the Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll work with a diverse portfolio of businesses and charities, building strong client relationships while delivering high-quality financial services and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

The responsibilities:
*Prepare statutory accounts for companies and charities
*Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion
*Prepare corporation tax returns and supporting documentation
*Build strong client relationships and handle day-to-day queries
*Deliver accurate work within agreed deadlines
*Review junior colleagues’ work and provide guidance
*Maintain assignment records, budgets and billing information
*Support business development and continuous improvement initiatives
The candidate:
*ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified candidates will also be considered for the role.
*Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
*Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and audit
*Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail
*Confident managing workloads, reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
