Full job descriptionMaths Teacher - Alternative Provision (January Start)
We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a growing Alternative Provision from January. This role involves teaching small groups of students across KS3, KS4 and Functional Skills, supporting learners with a range of additional needs, including SEMH.
Full-time and part-time applications welcome.
The Role
*Deliver approximately three 45-minute Maths lessons per day to classes of 2-8 students.
*Plan, teach, assess and mark work across KS3, KS4 and Functional Skills.
*Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and support student progress.
*Deliver interventions and, where appropriate, support with AQA Unit Awards.
*Build positive relationships and promote engagement, confidence and wellbeing.
About You
*QTS/QTLS preferred, although experienced unqualified teachers will be considered.
*Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
*Confident adapting learning for students with diverse needs.
*Experience working with SEMH learners, Alternative Provision, PRU or specialist settings desirable.
*Strong communication, resilience and a student-centred approach.
