We are supporting a major public sector organisation in the recruitment of multiple Commercial Managers to deliver a portfolio of high-profile procurement and commercial projects. These opportunities sit across a variety of business areas, ranging from infrastructure and engineering projects through to professional services, social impact programmes and strategic frameworks.

Description


*Lead end-to-end procurement activity from strategy through to contract award
*Develop procurement strategies and routes to market
*Manage tender processes, evaluations and supplier negotiations
*Draft procurement documentation, governance papers and contract schedules
*Provide commercial advice to business stakeholders
*Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and governance requirements
*Build and manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Support high-value and strategically important procurement programmes


Profile
A successful Interim Commercial Manager should have:
*Strong public sector procurement experience
*Proven end-to-end procurement and sourcing expertise
*Experience managing complex tenders and stakeholder groups
*Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills
*Knowledge of procurement governance and approval processes
*Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities


Job Offer
*Temporary Interim Commercial Manager contract.
*Daily rate of £530 per day, dependent on the level of experience.
*Location: London (in and around London) with 2/3 days on-site.
