CNC Turner (FANUC & Mazak) | Night Shift | Ferndown, Dorset
Up to £23 per hour PLUS 33% Shift Allowance, depending on experience

Our client is a long-established precision engineering company with a first-class reputation for quality and responsiveness. They produce complex, quality-critical machined components and assemblies, and they’re recruiting for their modern, well-equipped CNC machine shop in Dorset.
Hours
Monday to Thursday 15.30 to 01.45

What you’ll be doing
*Setting and running CNC turning centres (FANUC and Mazak)
*Programming and editing NC programs
*Making sure every part meets drawing requirements
*Completing check sheets as quality records and OEE sheets to support continuous improvement
*Creating and updating set-up sheets
*Preventing FOD contamination, following aerospace protocols and working safely, including correct use of PPE
What we’re looking for
*Time-served apprenticeship
*Minimum 5 years’ aerospace experience
*Proven background in a busy sub-contract machine shop
*Competent at programming and editing NC programs
*Able to work unsupervised, and self-motivated, flexible and well organised
