Full job descriptionMy Edinburgh based client are currently hiring for an experienced analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services professional to join an established team and grow and develop their career.


Key Responsibilities
*Monitor the general ledger ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data
*Deliver reporting activities including reconciliations and month end close.
*Validate data and share any risks or concerns with the wider business
*Translate financial reporting into digestible content for stakeholders and managers
*Support business transformation team with innovation and process improvement


Relevant experience:
*Strong experience in General Ledger accounting including month end reconciliation.
*Experience using ERP systems within a finance team
*Strong experience across accountancy including balance sheets, transfer pricing and revenue
*Fully or part qualified Accountant with a relevant recognised body
*Strong experience of cross collaboration across business units both in the UK and wider global teams
*Experience of interogating and challenging financial data
