Full job descriptionA fantastic opportunity to join a reputable construction company, heading up their accountancy function. You will be responsible for:
*Supervising 2-3 junior members of staff who undertake general day to day invoicing duties, ledgers etc
*Preparation of monthly management accounts, liaising with FD as needed including Profit & Loss, forecasting, balance sheet, etc
*Bank reconciliations
*VAT returns
*CIS returns
*Assisting with reviewing procedures and processes to ensure smooth running of the finance function
*Use of Xero software
This is a full-time, in office position. Ideally, you will have studied some level of ACCA / CIMA or qualified AAT, however they can consider those who are qualified by experience. Experience working in the construction industry within accounts would be highly beneficial but not essential, however you do need strong accountancy experience.
