Full job descriptionClass 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver
**- Hours: 45 hours per week, working early early starts between 2am-6am, or afternoon starts from 12pm.
*Pay: £18.22 per hour.

We are looking to recruit experienced qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire (psotcode: G67 2TU) .
We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includes at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.
Pay, working hours & benefits:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22 and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.
The majority of our shifts start in the early hours of the morning (between 1am - 6am).
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- Early Starts (Starting time 2am-6am) on a 5on3off shift pattern.

As one of our drivers you will:
*Complete delivery drops to shops.

*Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift.

*Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.

*Conduct daily vehicle checks

*Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

You will need:
*Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).

*Minimum 6 months experience driving class 1 vehicle.

*Digital tachograph & CPC card.

*No greater than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.

*A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
