Group Accountant/Finance Business PartnerLocation: Coventry
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Opportunity
A growing international business is seeking a qualified accountant to lead the finance function for a UK business unit. This is a varied role combining financial control, management reporting and commercial business partnering, working closely with senior leaders to support performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities*Produce monthly management accounts, reporting packs and financial analysis.
*Manage month-end processes, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and financial controls.
*Analyse margins, profitability and business performance.
*Partner with sales and operational teams to improve commercial outcomes.
*Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling.
*Support audits, statutory compliance and continuous process improvements.
About YouEssential
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
*Experience in management accounting, commercial finance or business partnering.
*Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
*Advanced Excel skills.
*Able to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
*Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
Desirable
*Experience within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, construction or service-based sectors.
*ERP system experience (SAP or similar).
*Experience within an international or group environment.
