About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Garment Technologist or Junior Garment Technologist to join a highly successful and growing lifestyle fashion brand.
With continued growth across a varied product offering, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team and gain valuable experience working across a diverse range of products for womenswear, menswear and kidswear.
The business is open to candidates from Junior through to Mid-Level, with flexibility around product categories depending on your experience.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the technical development of garments from initial samples through to production.
*Conduct garment fittings, ensuring fit, construction and quality meet the required standards.
*Manage fit comments, measurement specifications and technical documentation.
*Coordinate garment testing and ensure products meet the necessary quality and safety requirements.
*Liaise with suppliers and factories to resolve technical queries and ensure products are developed to specification.
*Work closely with Design and Product teams to maintain product quality, fit and consistency.
*Monitor sample approvals and critical deadlines, ensuring products progress smoothly through the development process.
*Maintain accurate technical records, demonstrating strong attention to detail throughout.
About You
*Previous experience in garment technology within an apparel brand or supplier.
*Experience with garment fittings, measurements and testing.
*Strong technical knowledge and an excellent eye for detail.
*A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
*A collaborative personality, with the ability to build strong relationships across a close-knit team.
*Adaptable and comfortable working across a varied product range, with flexibility around category experience.
