Description
*Oversee daily financial control activities to maintain accurate and timely accounting records.
*Prepare regular financial reports that give the business a clear view of financial performance.
*Review financial data and investigate variances to improve the quality of reporting.
*Maintain strong financial processes and controls across the Accounting & Finance department.
*Coordinate month-end activities to ensure information is complete and available when needed.
*Work with colleagues across the business to gather financial information and resolve queries.
*Support budgeting and forecasting activity with reliable financial data and insight.
*Present financial information clearly to help leaders make informed decisions.
Profile
A successful ’Financial Controller’ should have:
*Experience in financial control and management reporting.
*Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting.
*Ability to review financial data, identify variances and resolve issues.
*Experience of coordinating month-end reporting activities.
*Confidence working with colleagues across finance and wider business teams.
*Clear communication skills when presenting financial information.
Job Offer
*Permanent Financial Controller position.
*Salary of £75,000 to £80,000, dependent on the level of experience.
