An established and growing specialist family law firm in Manchester is seeking a talented Family Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in family law to join a dedicated practice focused on providing expert advice and representation in complex and often sensitive family matters.

Key Responsibilities
*Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, from initial instruction through to resolution
*Advise clients on divorce, financial settlements and financial remedy proceedings
*Handle private children law matters, including child arrangements and disputes concerning parental responsibility
*Provide clear, practical and empathetic legal advice tailored to clients’ individual circumstances
*Draft applications, statements, correspondence and other legal documentation
*Negotiate settlements and represent clients in proceedings where required
*Maintain strong client relationships and ensure excellent standards of client care throughout each case
*Manage files efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements
About You
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
*A minimum of 3+ PQE in family law.
*Experience managing their own caseload with a good degree of autonomy.
*Strong technical knowledge of divorce, financial remedy and private children matters.
*Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
*A client-focused approach, with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and empathetically.
*The ability to work effectively within a busy and collaborative legal team.
*A genuine interest in developing their career within a specialist family law practice.
