Rise10 Recruitment are working with an established electrical business based in Wellingborough that is looking to add an experienced Electrician to its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for a time-served Electrician with a background in commercial installations who enjoys being hands-on, taking responsibility for day-to-day site activities and working closely with Contracts Managers. The company is also keen to support someone who wants to develop their skills and progress professionally.
You’ll work across a varied range of residential, commercial and industrial projects, with opportunities to get involved in EV installations and commercial maintenance.
*Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems across a variety of projects.
*Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of commercial electrical installations and coordinating work with other electricians.
*Supporting and supervising junior electricians and apprentices, sharing your knowledge and experience.
*Working closely with Contracts Managers to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
*Inspecting electrical systems, identifying faults and implementing effective solutions.
*Carrying out electrical testing and inspections, including EICRs where experienced.
*Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time spent on tasks.
*Ensuring all work meets relevant electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and company procedures.
*Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and management to keep everyone up to date.
What we’re looking for
*A time-served Electrician with ideally around five years’ experience.
*Experience working on commercial electrical installations and coordinating the day-to-day work of an installation team.
*A Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
*A full UK driving licence.
*A positive, professional approach with good communication skills and a commitment to safe working.
*Someone keen to develop their skills and progress within the business.
Desirable, but not essential:
*ECS Gold Card.
*2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
*Experience carrying out domestic and commercial EICRs.

*Salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience, for a permanent PAYE position.

*22 days’ annual leave, with three days to be reserved for the Christmas shutdown.
*Monday to Friday working, typically eight-hour shifts.
