Full job descriptionThis is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an established group accounting function, responsible for accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting, while assisting with and driving process improvements.


Duties include:


*Financial Accounting and control for fixed and variable cost centre reporting as well as managing underlying transactional processes where relevant
*Support with preparation of annual management plan and forecasts
*Provide financial reports and support business functions
*Financial accounting and month end closure
*Financial accounting and control of head office cost recharges
*Support with monthly group reporting and preparation of annual statutory accounts


Required Qualifications and Aptitudes:


*Qualified (or finalist) ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
*Experience in a similar role is essential possessing relevant accounting experience covering financial accounting, VAT, and tax within a UK organisation
*Experience with management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
*Good analysis skills, able to interpret data and then communicate findings accordingly
*Able to establish and develop relationships at all levels within the organisation

*Attention to detail and able to prioritise changing demands
*Strong Excel skills
