You don’t necessarily need years of classroom experience to make a difference in specialist education.
If you’re a graduate, sports coach, youth worker, support worker or care professional with patience, empathy and a genuine ability to connect with young people, your skills could be exactly what we’re looking for.
Veritas Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants for a specialist school in Newton Aycliffe supporting children and young people with additional needs. The setting provides education through a responsive curriculum designed around learners’ assessed needs and abilities.
We’d love to hear from people with experience in:
*Autism/SEN support
*Youth work
*Children’s residential care
*Adult or children’s support work
*Sports coaching
*Psychology, Education or related degrees
*Teaching Assistant/Learning Support roles
We’re looking for people who are caring, patient, compassionate, resilient and empathetic, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
