Job Description:
Full job descriptionPrivate Client Solicitor, Solihull, Varied Caseload, Legal 500 Firm

Are you a Private Client Solicitor looking for a role where you can handle a genuinely varied caseload, build long-term relationships with clients and become part of an established and supportive team?

A well-regarded Legal 500 regional law firm is looking to add an experienced Solicitor to its Private Client team in Solihull, offering varied work, plenty of client contact and good scope to continue developing your career.

The Firm

This is a long-established Legal 500 recognised regional law firm with a strong presence across Birmingham and the surrounding area, advising both individuals and businesses across a broad range of legal services.

The firm has built its reputation around long-term client relationships and combines the breadth of expertise of a larger practice with a more personal and approachable working environment.

You’ll be joining an established Private Client department with experienced lawyers around you and a varied client base.

The Role

You’ll manage your own Private Client caseload and advise clients across a wide range of matters, including:

*Wills and estate planning

*Probate and estate administration

*Lasting Powers of Attorney

*Trusts

*Inheritance tax planning

*Advising elderly and vulnerable clients

*Supporting families with succession and later-life planning

*Developing relationships with existing clients and professional contacts

The role offers plenty of direct client contact and autonomy, while still giving you the support of experienced colleagues when dealing with more complex matters.

You

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor with previous experience in Private Client work and the ability to manage your own caseload.

You’ll need a good grounding across wills, probate and estate administration, with wider experience of trusts, LPAs and tax planning particularly useful.

Just as importantly, you’ll be personable and comfortable building trusted relationships with clients, many of whom will be dealing with sensitive or difficult circumstances.

You’ll also be organised, commercially aware and keen to become a long-term part of an established Private Client team.

Benefits

*25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays

*Option to buy and sell annual leave

*Healthcare plan

*Career development and progression opportunities

*Supportive and established Private Client team

If you’re looking for a Private Client position where you can maintain a varied practice rather than being pushed into a narrow specialism, could this be the right move?
