An ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Business Services Senior is sought by a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith, to run accounts assignments across a mixed client portfolio.
The firm serves a loyal and diverse local business community, so the work carries plenty of variety, and you’d build both technical ability and client confidence alongside an experienced team. What’s the day to day of the role:
*Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
*Helping managers and partners with more complex, technical assignments
*Dealing with client queries professionally and confidently
*Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns where required
*Supervising and mentoring the junior members of the team
Required skills and qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a solid accounts preparation background
*At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
*A track record preparing accounts for a range of client types to a high standard
*Comfortable with accountancy software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
*Professional with clients, well organised, and ambitious to progress in practice
