A fantastic opening has arisen to join a growing healthcare law team advising organisations across the health and social care sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or barrister with Court of Protection experience to work on a broad range of complex and rewarding matters within the pre-eminent team in the country.
Key responsibilities:
*Managing Court of Protection and best interests matters, including advocacy where appropriate
*Advising on mental capacity, deprivation of liberty, human rights and public law issues
*Supporting clients with healthcare governance, investigations, complaints and regulatory matters
*Advising on NHS funding and wider healthcare law issues
*Contributing to training, webinars and thought leadership activities
*Supporting business development and client relationship growth
What we’re looking for:
*Qualified solicitor or barrister
*Strong Court of Protection experience
*Previous healthcare law experience
*Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills
*A proactive, collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
*Willingness to travel when required
Desirable:
*Experience of inquests
*Understanding of the health and social care sector
