Are you an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing and supportive business in Southampton?
Our client is expanding their successful pallet network operation and is seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their friendly transport team. The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised freight across Southampton and surrounding areas.
Key Duties:
*Multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods
*Typically 12-16 deliveries/collections per day
*Operating a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle
*Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck
*Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reports
*Using handheld devices to capture delivery information and PODs
*Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
*Liaising with the transport office throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Driver CPC Qualification Card

Digital Tachograph Card

Good driving record (ideally no more than 6 points)

Positive and professional attitude

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Pallet network or multi-drop experience desirable but not essential
