We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable teachers with specialist subject knowledge in iMedia and Computer Science to teach up to KS4, the role is Monday-Thursdays and likely to continue until the Autumn term.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a well established school in Cannock
The Role:
* Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned IT, Computing, and Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
*Teach a range of topics, including programming, coding, algorithms, computer systems, networks, databases, spreadsheets, and digital literacy, depending on your specialism and school requirements.
*Develop students’ problem-solving, logical thinking, computational skills, and confidence using technology.
*Help students prepare for GCSE Computer Science, IT qualifications, and other relevant assessments where required.
*Adapt lesson plans and digital resources to meet different learning needs and abilities.
*Encourage creativity and independent thinking through practical technology-based tasks and projects.
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and ensure computer rooms and learning environments remain safe, organised, and productive.
*Complete essential administrative tasks, including registers and handover notes, to ensure a smooth return for the class teacher.
Must have:
*QTS / PGCE / Newly qualified teachers
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students
*Must have an up to date DBS
*Can commmute to Cannock
