Full job descriptionWe are currently hiring for a Temporary Cleaner to work on a residential building based in Peterborough, PE2. You would be in charge of all communal block cleaning to ensure the building is kept to a high standard.
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: 6 hours per week (part time) - this can be worked 1 day per week, or split across 3 days
Time Period: Around 3-4 weeks of cover


Key Responsibilities
*Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.


*Empty bins and replace liners.


*Replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) as required.


*Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or inventory shortages to the supervisor.


*Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and checklists.


*Adhere to health and safety and infection control standards, including use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.


*Work flexibly across different sites as required.


Required Skills and Attributes
*Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.


*Ability to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.


*Attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of cleanliness.


*Reliable and punctual with good time-management.


*Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
*Physically able to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting light equipment).
