Full job descriptionAn opportunity for an established Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to take a leading role in the continued growth of a well-regarded residential property practice in Norwich.

This position would suit someone with a strong technical background in residential conveyancing, experience handling high-value transactions and an established presence in the local market. Alongside managing a varied caseload, you’ll play an important part in developing new client relationships, strengthening connections with local agents and helping shape the future direction of the Norwich team.

The Role You’ll handle a broad range of residential property transactions, acting for clients ranging from high-net-worth individuals to corporate entities. Matters will include routine conveyancing as well as more complex, high-value freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and property finance.

Alongside your own caseload, you’ll be expected to contribute to the development of the wider practice. This will include:

*Building relationships with local estate agents, property finders and other professional contacts.


*Driving business development activity and helping implement the Norwich team’s growth strategy.


*Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues, including training junior team members where required.


*Identifying opportunities to expand the team’s services and develop new areas of work.


*Embracing new technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency and the client experience.


You’ll join a substantial residential property team operating across multiple offices, with dedicated support for file opening and completions.

About You You’ll be a Solicitor, Legal Executive with practising rights or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 6 years’ PQE or equivalent experience, ideally gained within a strong regional or City firm.

You’ll have extensive experience across residential conveyancing, including high-value and technically complex transactions, alongside the confidence to manage demanding matters independently.

An established local network and a proven ability to generate new business will be particularly important. You’ll be commercially minded, comfortable developing professional relationships and keen to contribute to the wider success of the team. An interest in technology and its application to legal services would also be beneficial.
