Full job descriptionJob Title: Audit Senior
Location: Cardiff
Salary: Circa £35,000 - £45,000+
Looking to take the next step in your audit career? This is a great opportunity to join a growing audit team in Cardiff, where you can take ownership of client assignments, support junior colleagues and continue developing your technical expertise.
You’ll work closely with Audit Managers and a varied client base, gaining exposure to a range of audit engagements while playing an important role in delivering a high-quality service. If you’re looking for a role that offers responsibility, development and flexibility, this could be the opportunity for you!
The Role:
*Leading external audit assignments from planning through to completion
*Reviewing work completed by junior team members and supporting their development
*Working closely with clients and senior colleagues to deliver a high-quality service
*Identifying key audit risks and ensuring assignments are completed efficiently and within budget
*Preparing and reviewing accounts in line with UK GAAP or IFRS
*Managing a mix of remote and on-site client engagements
About You:
*Qualified or currently studying towards ACA OR ACCA
*Recent audit and assurance experience within an accountancy practice
*Experience managing external audits from planning through to completion
*A good understanding of auditing standards and UK GAAP or IFRS
*Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload
*Confident supporting and mentoring junior team members
