Are you an experienced Tax Professional looking to take the next step in your career with a reputable and growing accountancy practice?
We are seeking a Tax Senior to join a well-established firm in Chelmsford, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients while developing your technical expertise and client management skills.
The Role
As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory support. You will work closely with clients, building strong relationships while ensuring all tax matters are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
*Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
*Assisting with corporation tax compliance and planning
*Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
*Liaising directly with clients regarding tax matters
*Supporting partners and managers with advisory projects
*Ensuring compliance deadlines are met
*Assisting junior team members where required
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
*ATT qualification (or be nearing completion)
*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
*Strong knowledge of personal and/or corporate tax
*Experience managing client relationships
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive and professional approach
*CTA studies or aspirations would be advantageous but are not essential
