Real Personnel are currently recruiting for a Trainee Machine Setter / Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Redditch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an engineering qualification and a hands-on, mechanical background who is looking to develop their skills in a specialist manufacturing environment.
No previous cold heading experience is required, as full training will be provided over a 12–18 month period.
Duties Include:*Learning to set and operate specialist manufacturing machinery.
*Assisting with machine tooling, adjustments and maintenance.
*Carrying out quality inspections on finished products.
*Identifying and resolving basic mechanical issues.
*Working alongside experienced setters to develop technical skills.
*Gradually taking responsibility for multiple machines.
Requirements:*Level 2 or 3 Engineering qualification (apprenticeship preferred).
*Good mechanical knowledge and practical hands-on skills.
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Basic computer literacy.
*Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
*Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or within a team.
