About the role

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join a property maintenance team, carrying out repairs in residents’ homes and communal areas.
This is a great opportunity for someone seeking long-term employment, with an initial 12-week temporary period and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key responsibilities*Carry out carpentry repairs, including doors, door frames, locks, handles and general woodwork.
*Complete general property maintenance and minor repairs.
*Assist with other trades, including basic plumbing, tiling and making good where competent.
*Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
*Provide professional customer service and keep residents updated.
*Record completed jobs, materials and timesheets using a smartphone or tablet.
*Maintain tools, equipment and van stock.
*Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required.
Requirements*Proven carpentry and property maintenance experience.
*NVQ Level 2 or equivalent time-served experience.
*Multi-trade skills are desirable.
*Full, clean UK driving licence.
*Good communication and problem-solving skills.
*Willingness to undertake a Basic DBS check.
