The firm’s Derivatives & Trading team advises hedge funds, asset managers, financial institutions, family offices and corporate clients on a broad range of complex trading, financing and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Description
*Coordinate the launch of new hedge funds and related workstreams.
*Manage ongoing legal, transactional and regulatory matters post-launch.
*Work closely with partners and associates on active client mandates.
*Monitor progress of multiple negotiations and ensure key deadlines are met.
*Liaise directly with hedge fund managers, brokers and financial institutions.
*Assist with the negotiation of trading and financing documentation.
*Support document execution and transaction management processes.
*Conduct legal and market practice research where required.
*Help implement regulatory-driven changes across existing arrangements.
*Maintain accurate records and track key deliverables.
*Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
*Support the wider team on derivatives, trading and financing matters.
Profile
*Strong academic credentials.
*Previous paralegal experience within a law firm or financial institution.
*Exposure to derivatives, trading, finance or related transactional work is advantageous.
*Excellent organisational and project management skills.
*Ability to manage multiple workstreams and demanding deadlines.
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
*Confident communicating with clients and external stakeholders.
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
