An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Partner or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded and growing family law team in Derby. This senior position is ideal for an ambitious family solicitor looking to take a leading role in the development of a successful practice, handling a varied caseload of high-quality, privately funded family law matters. You will play a key role in shaping the department’s future, contributing to strategic growth and delivering exceptional client service.
The Role
As a senior person in the Family team, you will combine technical expertise with leadership, client relationship management and business development responsibilities.
Your duties will include:
*Running a high quality caseload of private family law instructions concerning:
*Divorce
*Ancillary Relief
*Cohabitation disputes
*Private Children Act matters
*Handling complex and high-value financial remedy cases involving properties, investments, pensions etc
*Supervising, mentoring and developing junior solicitors and legal professionals
*Driving business development, generating new opportunities and strengthening relationships with clients and professional referrers
*Contributing to departmental strategy, business growth and service delivery standards
*Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to support its long-term objectives
