Full job description Van Driver / Warehouse OperatorWe are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operator / Van Driver to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, splitting time between van deliveries and warehouse duties. Full training is provided. 6 Month Contract, £29k pro rata salary.
About the roleThis is a varied, busy role. You will spend part of your day driving the company van and part in the warehouse, and you will help with moves. It suits someone who likes being active and does not want to sit still.
No prior experience of our routes or systems is needed. New starters go out with an experienced driver at first, and training is given on the job.
Key responsibilities*Drive the van to deliver and collect goods across London, working safely and to schedule
*Carry out warehouse duties, mainly put-aways and picking
*Help with moves, including loading, unloading and handling items
*Work alongside the driver and wider team, learning the routes and processes
*Look after the van and report any issues promptly
RequirementsEssential
*Aged 21 or over (required for insurance purposes)
*Full, valid driving licence
*No more than 3 points on the licence, all of which must be declared
*Willing to do physical work, including put-aways, picking and helping with moves
*Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Desirable
*Good knowledge of London areas
*A clean licence (not essential)
