The role
The Localities teams hold the heart of the statutory work: children looked after and child protection cases together, so your week spans conference, court and care planning with the same families throughout.
What the work is
A mixed caseload in one patch covering both children in care and child protection, so you keep families as their circumstances change rather than handing them on.

Holding LAC and CP together keeps your practice rounded and your relationships unbroken when a case changes status. Many workers never want to go back to split teams.
Pay and package
*Salary £40,777 to £45,091 a year
*£5,000 retention payment a year
*Total package up to £50,091

About Cardiff Council
