Full job descriptionRobert Half is delighted to be partnering with an innovative and fast-growing international business in Cambridge to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to join a dynamic, technology-driven organisation in a highly visible role with genuine influence across the finance function.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Finance Manager will take ownership of financial control, statutory compliance, month-end reporting and audit activities across multiple entities. Working closely with both UK and international stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting ongoing growth and process improvement initiatives.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
*Owning the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities
*Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
*Managing statutory reporting, audits and regulatory compliance requirements
*Acting as the key point of contact for external auditors and advisors
*Supporting revenue recognition processes and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
*Working closely with commercial, operational and legal teams to provide financial insight and guidance
*Reviewing working capital performance, debtor balances and collection activities
*Supporting, mentoring and developing members of the wider finance team
*Driving improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks


About You
The successful candidate will be:
*Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
*Experienced in financial control, statutory reporting and compliance
*Technically strong with a solid understanding of IFRS
*Comfortable managing multiple entities within a complex business environment
*Experienced with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar
*A proactive and commercially minded finance professional with strong stakeholder management skills
*Able to work effectively across international teams and business functions
