Meraki Talent is working with a well-established independent accountancy firm in Paisley that is looking to welcome an experienced Bookkeeper to its team.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys bookkeeping, working with businesses and building lasting client relationships, but who would also welcome the chance to develop their skills and take on more responsibility over time.
The firm has an established client base and a leadership team with ambitious plans for the future. Alongside its traditional accounting services, the business is developing its wider advisory offering, creating opportunities for individuals who want to broaden their experience.
The Role
Working with a varied portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, your responsibilities would include:
*Managing day-to-day bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of clients.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts.
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
*Supporting clients with their accounting systems and financial information.
*Building strong relationships with clients and responding to their queries.
*Managing your own workload and ensuring deadlines are met.
*Working closely with experienced colleagues and Partners.

About You
Ideally, you will bring:
