The Opportunity
Our client is one of the UK’s leading Chartered Wealth Management firms, with an established reputation for delivering high-quality financial advice. We have partnered with the business for over 10 years, placing nearly 40 professionals with them during that time.
Having more than trebled in size since our relationship began, the firm continues to grow organically and is now seeking an experienced Head of Advice to lead, develop and support its Financial Adviser team.
The Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity offering considerable autonomy and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing success of an established wealth management business.
You will oversee Financial Advisers at different stages of their careers, from highly successful advisers managing over £100m in assets under management (AUM) who may require succession planning, to developing advisers who need structured guidance, coaching and support.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team and reporting directly to the Board, your responsibilities will include:
*Leading, managing and developing a team of Financial Advisers.
*Driving revenue growth and supporting the achievement of individual and business targets.
*Ensuring advisers operate in accordance with the firm’s terms and conditions and remuneration arrangements.
*Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and development discussions.
*Identifying skills and knowledge gaps and implementing tailored coaching and development plans.
*Reviewing adviser pipelines, business plans and future growth opportunities.
*Improving lead generation, client referrals and conversion rates.
*Supporting adviser succession planning and the long-term sustainability of client relationships.
*Contributing to the wider strategic direction of the business as a member of the Senior Management Team.
About You
To be considered, you will need:
*A minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent recognised qualification.
*A demonstrable track record of successfully managing and leading a team of Financial Advisers.
*Strong commercial awareness, with experience of driving revenue and improving business performance.
*The ability to coach, mentor and develop advisers at different stages of their careers.
*Experience of performance management, pipeline reviews and business planning.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*The confidence to operate autonomously while working closely with senior leadership and the Board.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
*Senior leadership position within a leading Chartered Wealth Management firm.
*£120,000 base salary, plus bonus and excellent benefits.
*Direct exposure to the Board and involvement in strategic decision-making.
*Significant autonomy to shape adviser performance, development and succession planning.
*The opportunity to make a tangible impact within a successful, growing business.
