I am working with a well-connected, full-service law firm looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor at NQ to 2 years’ PQE.

The firm has a particularly busy and well-established Litigation Department, offering an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to develop their career within a team handling a substantial volume of commercial disputes.

This is a chance to build your experience in a supportive, established environment, gain exposure to a varied range of contentious matters and work alongside experienced litigators within a firm offering a broad range of legal services.

The Role

You’ll be involved in a varied caseload of general commercial litigation, supporting clients through disputes and developing your ability to manage matters from initial instruction through to resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with and managing commercial litigation matters appropriate to your level of experience.

Drafting pleadings, correspondence, witness statements and other legal documentation.

Researching legal issues and advising on the merits of claims, litigation risks and potential outcomes.

Supporting court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.

Liaising directly with clients, counsel and other professionals.

Working alongside senior colleagues on more complex disputes, developing your technical knowledge and commercial judgement.

About You

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, ideally with experience in commercial litigation gained during your training contract or post-qualification.

You’ll have strong drafting, analytical and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in contentious work. You’ll also be proactive, commercially aware and keen to develop your expertise within an established litigation team.
